We are busy preparing for our second 5th grade Family Learning Involvement Partnership event! Often students ask the question of, "Why do I need to know this?" We are going to dive in and explore this question hands on allowing kids to brainstorm about what they will use 5th grade math for in a real world job. Our guest speaker is the manager of North Belt Walmart and will be guiding students through the process of becoming a Walmart employee! Please join us in exploring and discussing real world math! This event was originally scheduled for Wednesday, February 2, 2011. Due to recent weather conditions, if there is no school it will be rescheduled as soon as possible!
